Heli-Hiking Day 4 and Banff

 

Our last morning at the lodge went quickly. We had to have our luggage ready at breakfast. We enjoyed another great  breakfast and then waited for our turn to heli out. We flew down and transferred out as the next guests headed up. We waited by the bus for the rest of guests to fly down. Once everyone was down, we loaded up the bus for the trip back to Banff. 

At Banff we took a cab to our hotel and then headed to the Banff Springs Hotel to look around and pick up our rental car.

A geocache was nearby so we hiked from the hotel to find it. Along the way we came across a guy feeding the squirrels. They would crawl all over him. A nice women gave us some nuts and Wyatt fed them. He had a blast feeding the squirrels. I think this was the highlight of the day.

We walked around downtown Banff that evening. We passed a Ramen shop and Wyatt had to eat there. He likes a Japanese cartoon called Naruto. Naruto  loves Ramen. The food was pretty good. Nothing fancy, but just what we needed.

 We were tired and headed back to the hotel and crashed.
